Ingredients:
- Bengal gram(Kadala paruppu) - 250 gm
- Maida - 100 gm
- Rice flour - 100 gm
- Jaggery - 250 gm
- Cardamom powder - 1 tbsp
- Oil – to deep fry
Preparation:
- Boil Bengal gram until smooth. Smash it to thick paste.
- Take a syrup of jaggery and add that to the paste. Add cardamom powder.
- Make small balls with the paste and keep them aside.
- Mix both maida and rice flours, add water to make it to a batter consistency.
- Heat oil in a frying pan. Dip each ball in to the batter to make a thick coating.
- Deep fry the coated balls until they turn brown.
