Ingredients:
- Cooked toor dal - 1/2 cup
- Tamarind pulp - 1/4 cup
- Tomato - 2
- Cumin seed - 1 tsp
- Toor dal - 1 tsp
- Red chilly - 2
- Pepper - 1tsp
- Coriander seeds - 1 tsp
- Mustard seed - 1 tsp
- Garlic pods - 5
- Gingely oil - 2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Curry leaves
- Coriander leaves
Preparation:
- Fry toor dal, red chillies, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, pepper and grind them.
- Boil tomato and tamarind paste with salt. Add garlic pods.
- Add the cooked toor dal, ground paste, and needed water and bring it to a boil.
- Heat oil in frying pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add curry leaves and coriander leaves.
- Add this to the rasam.
