Kezhangu Kootu Curry

Ingredients:

  • Tapioca - 1/4 kg
  • Coconut grated - 1/2 cup
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Red chilly - 2
  • Turmeric powder - a pinch
  • Garlic pods -2
  • Salt to taste
  • Coconut oil

Preparation:

  1. Cut the tapioca to cubes and cook it with little salt and drain the water.
  2. Grind coconut, cumin seeds, red chilly, turmeric powder , garlic pods to a fine paste.
  3. In a pan add the tapioca and the ground paste and salt and mix well. Add water and let to boil.
  4. After it boils to a semi solid state, pour 2 Tbsp coconut oil and add curry leaves and put off the stove.
