Mambala Puliseri

Ingredients:

  • Small mango fruit - 4
  • Butter Milk - 1- 1/2 cup
  • Coconut - 1/2 cup
  • Green chillies - 5
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic pods - 2
  • Soaked raw rice - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chillies - 2
  • Curry leaves

Preparation:

  1. Grind coconut, green chillies, cumin seeds, garlic pods, soaked raw rice to a fine paste.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard, red chillies. Add the cut mangoes and let it to boil. Add salt.
  3. After the mango gets half cooked, add the ground paste and let it to boil.
  4. Once the mango is fully cooked, pour the butter milk and off the stove and add curry leaves.
