Mysore Pak

Ingredients:

  • Gram flour - 2 cups
  • Sugar - 2 cups
  • Ghee - 2 cups
  • Water - 1 cup

Preparation:

  1. Heat 1 cup ghee in a frying pan. Add gram flour and fry it in low heat till it turns light brown. Keep it aside.
  2. In a frying pan, add sugar and water and boil it to become a sticky syrup.
  3. Add the gram flour and mix well. Add the remaining ghee and stir continuously so that no blocks are formed.
  4. When the ghee comes out and the mixture start to separate from the pan, take it out and spread it on a ghee greased plate. Cut it into shapes of square with a sharp knife.
