Navaratna Kurma

Ingredients:

  • Boiled and long cut Beans - 1/4 cup
  • Boiled and long cut Carrot - 1/4 cup
  • Boiled and cubed Potato - !/4 cup
  • Boiled green Peas - 1/4 cup
  • Raisins - 2 Tbsp
  • Cashew nut - 2 Tbsp
  • Pineapple - 2 Tbsp
  • Tomato - 1
  • Tomato Puree - 1 tsp
  • Onion - 1
  • Oil
  • Roast and Blend
  • Cumin seeds - 1tsp
  • Coriander seeds - 1tsp
  • Peppercorn - 1tsp
  • Cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon - 1 "
  • Cardamom - 2
  • Cloves - 2
  • Grind to a smooth paste
  • Green Chilly - 10
  • Ginger - 1"
  • Garlic Pods - 6
  • Curd - 1 tsp

Preparation:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add sliced onion and saute. Add the ground paste and fry for about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add the tomato puree and the dry powder and mix well and cook for a minute.
  3. Add the cooked vegetables and the chopped tomato, powdered cashew nut, raisins and cubed pineapple.
  4. Add salt and mix well. Add the needed water and cook till the gravy thickens and oil separates.
