Ingredients:
- Cooked vegetables - 1/2 cup (beans, carrot, potato, peas)
- Onion - 2
- Tomato -1
- Oil
- Salt to taste
- Bay leaf - 1
- Cardamom - 2
- Cloves -1
- To grind
- Coconut grated - 1/2 cup
- Cinnamon - 1
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
- Poppy seeds - 1 tsp
- Aniseed - 1 tsp
Preparation:
- Grind the ingredients given for grinding to a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a pan and add cloves, bay leaf and cardamom.
- Add chopped onion and saute. Add tomatoes and cook till they turn soft.
- Add the cooked vegetables and 1/2 cup water and salt and mix well and leave to boil.
- Add the ground paste and cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat when the gravy gets thick.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
