Ingredients:
- Potato - 2
- Carrot - 2
- Onion - 1
- Tomato -1
- Peas - 1/4 cup
- Coconut grated - 1/2 cup
- Garlic pods - 2
- Fenugreek seed - 1 tsp
- Poppy seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Red chillies - 5
- Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Roasted Bengal gram - 1 Tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil
- Curry leaves
Preparation:
- Grind fenugreek seeds, poppy seeds, roasted gram, red chillies and coconut to a paste.
- Heat oil in a pan and add curry leaves.
- Add chopped onion and tomato and cook.
- Add peas and cook till the peas turn soft. Now add the boiled potato and carrot
- Add turmeric powder, chilly powder and salt and mix well.
- Add the ground coconut paste and mix well and cook till the gravy becomes thick.
