Ingredients:
- Lady's finger - 10
- Onion - 1
- Garlic pods - 8
- Green chillies - 6
- Tamarind pulp - 1/4 cup
- Raw rice water - 1/2 cup (the water got while cleaning rice)
- Curry leaves
- Mustard seed - 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil
Preparation:
- Heat oil in a frying pan and add lady's finger pieces and fry them and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add curry leaves.
- Add chopped onion, garlic and green chillies.
- Add the fried lady's finger and tamarind pulp.
- Add raw rice water and salt and boil till the gravy becomes thick.
