Ingredients:
- Ginger - 100 gms
- Chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Tamarind pulp - 2 Tbsp
- Jaggery - 1 tsp
- Gingely oil
Preparation:
- Shred the ginger. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the ginger to golden brown. Let it to cool and powder it.
- Heat gingely oil in a frying pan and splutter mustard. Add the tamarind pulp and salt and let to boil.
- Now add chilly powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder. Boil till a semi liquid consistency is reached. Add the powdered ginger and jaggery and give a boil.
