Thenga Paal Kozhukattai

Ingredients:

  • Rice Flour – 2 cups
  • Sugar – 1 Cup
  • Grated Coconut – 1 cup
  • Cardamom powder – 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Preparation:

  1. Heat two cups of water in a heavy bottomed pan.
  2. Add the rice flour and salt to the hot water and stir it until cooked and turns to a soft dough.
  3. Make small balls out of the dough and steam cook them.
  4. Take milk out of the grated coconut 2 times.
  5. Heat the second coconut milk in heavy flame for 2 minutes and add sugar and cardamom powder. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  6. Add the cooked rice balls to it and after a boil put off the stove and add the first coconut milk.
